An Exciting Email:

Well yesterday when I checked my email this jumped out at me:

"On behalf of the staff of The Center for Fine Art Photography, we want to congratulate you on the selection of one of your images for The Art of Digital Imagery Exhibition. Hopefully, you had a chance to see the announcement on the Center's website either last night or earlier today, but if not, let us be the first to congratulate you. We are definitely excited about the variety and quality of the work that has been selected for this show. For your information, over 300 photographers submitted around 1300 images for this unique exhibit. Congratulations on being one of the 50 photographers chosen to participate. If you haven't visited the website, the selections are posted along with the title and a thumbnail of the selected image. See "The Art of Digital Imagery, Exhibitor's Announcement" on the left side of the home page at www.c4fap.org."

The exhibition will be on display at The Center for Fine Art Photography
from June 15th - July 14th, 2007.

Well that just made my day and I though I would share it.

Here is the link if you'd like to check it out: http://www.c4fap.org/

Ohh ya, and (Thanks Kenda for alerting me to this exhibition)

Hope to hear from all of you soon,

Matt

A New Year Brings New Change!

Well another new year has begun and although it seems like it just started, the month is almost over!

The new year kicked off for me with a trip to San Antonio for the Annual PPA (Professional Photographers of America) convention. I learned a ton this year and it will all be put to good use as the convention inspired me more than ever to work hard to turn Pavel Studio's into a great success.

Although the weather wasn't so cooperative on the return home, I made it back just in time to see the most beautiful snow yet in the state of Texas. It was so great that we woke up bright and early to have a snowball fight and build a snowman.

The next day a tooth was trying to wiggle free from the mouth of a six year old. Austin was so excited he asked if we could have a party when it finally came out. With the help of a string it finally managed to come loose the next day. This was only after many failed attempts from me to aid in assistance with the handy old pliers!

So the year is off to a great start for us... I hope all is going well for you too, Happy New Year! Read More......
