So I thought I would throw this out there and see what happens. My first thought was to give away a free session to whomever could come up with the craziest idea for a trash the dress session but...NO. I've now decided it can be any type of session. Engagement, Bridal, Family, Senior, Whatever, so long as it is wild, wacky, far out, or just dangerous (only teasing, not the dangerous part!).
So leave your ideas here on the blog as comments or email them to me. On February 20th I'll pick one winner to receive a free session along with plenty of free prints.
There will be some stipulations of coarse. The shoot will need to take place before March 20th, preferably in the Knoxville area or close by (I'll travel so long as you pay the travel expenses). The winner will be whomever comes up with the most creative idea. But at the same time it needs to be achievable (for instance if you want to do an engagement shoot on the wing of a flying airplane you will need to provide the airplane, and of coarse the pilot:)
So lets hear what you can come up with!

I would love for you to TRY and take actions shots of our bloodhound while they are on scent, it is all we can do to keep up with them but action shots would be AWESOME. We volunteer for the Knoxville Police Department Search and Recovery team and train every Saturday for 6 to 8 hours. There is three of us on the team.

I'm not understanding what trash the dress session means.
A trash the dress session was made popular last year by coverage from the national media. It is a photography session after the bride gets married and usually involves getting the wedding dress dirty in some way. I am a part of a music duo who are in need of new shots, preferably for our new album, which would be great for you to get your name out there too! What if we turned the world upside down? We took all the pictures, but then in editing, turned the background upside down behind us?

I didn't see this until today and it's the 20th but I thought I would throw my idea out there anyway. What about a photo shoot downtown around some of the various statues we have. The clothing would need to be strangely out of place. Imagine, a woman dressed like a clown or a mime or anything with bold colors, crazy colored wigs.. with the statue of the man in the rowboat outside of the bank.
Think something more sweet. Candy. All "candy" headshot. Multi colored eyelashes, sprinkle lips, over sized lollipop over mouth, twizzlers- you name it.
